OSCR provides several computer labs for instructional purposes. There is one Computer Lab that is designated
for instructional use only. There is one Computer Lab and two Multimedia Computer Labs that offer open hours to the University of Arizona community; students,
staff and faculty. Lastly, review the reservation guidelines then fill-out and submit an online
reservation request to start the reservation process.
If we are able to fulfill your reservation request we will send you an email confirmation
within 24 to 72 hours of when you submitted your request. If you receive a reservation confirmation
we encourage you to visit the lab before your class to become familiar with lab hardware and
software and to test your lesson plan.
If we are not able to fully meet your request we will contact you as soon as possible to
offer alternative reservation dates, times or labs.

This instructional lab is available for one-time or semester-long faculty reservations
for UA for-credit courses. CC 311 is not an open access lab and can only be entered
during class periods.

Located in the Computer Center, room 303, the Multimedia Learning Lab is OSCR's flagship multimedia location. If you need assistance with your multimedia projects, the
MLL has staff on duty to help you every step of the way.
Faculty and Graduate Assistant Teachers: The MLL is available for reservation as a teaching classroom or as a multimedia lab for student class work.
You can also request multimedia workshops for your students throughout the semester.
Students: All students are welcome in the MLL. To gain access to the MLL, you must first self-sponsor. You can begin reserving time on MLL
workstations immediately afterwards by calling 621-9404 or visiting the MLL in CC room 303.
Gear-to-Go: The MLL has excellent multimedia gear available for checkout to all UA faculty and to those students who have received faculty-sponsorship for the current semester.
We have digital video cameras, portable DAT drives, tripods, wireless microphones, and digital still image cameras. Gear-to-Go can be checked out for a maximum of 48
hours.
Specialty peripherals: If you need to convert your slides to computer images, convert your computer images to slides, turn your VHS or mini-dv tapes into DVDs, print out in large format, or
scan large format images, the MLL is available to assist you with its specialty peripherals. We also have a wonderful digital audio/midi sound room with all the software
and hardware you could wish for.

Located in the Aerospace & Mechanical Engineering Building, room s314, the multimedia classroom is a computer lab specifically designed with multimedia classes in mind.
There are 31 iMac Macintosh workstations arranged in a traditional classroom configuration.
The instructor workstation is connected to a LCD projector and sound system, and is configured exactly the same as the student
workstations.
A number of classes are held in the Multimedia Classroom all semester long, and many instructors reserve the classroom for specific occasions.
