The DVX100 contains a 3-CCD image sensory system, with 410,000 (380,000 effective) pixels each. The camera can record in both true 24 progressive frames per second video and standard interlaced video onto MiniDV tape and incorporates "CineGamma" functionality to approximate the characteristic curve of film. charact The DVX100 also features two XLR audio inputs, another rare feature for cameras in its price range. It includes a 4-pin firewire port, as well as S-Video and RCA in and out ports. It features manual and servo zoom, with a second zoom control and record button on top of the handle for recording from low angles.

  • This is an INSTRUCTIONAL SUPPORT GEAR device and as such requires special permission to reserve and checkout. This permission is obtained from the Multimedia Supervisor and will require justification of need for this quality of device. Please send a request to the Multimedia Services and Technologies Team.

    • Equipment can be reserved up to two weeks in advance, and most gear can be checked out for a maximum of 2 days. Equipment is always due back by 3pm on the day it is due. For example, if the equipment is checked out on Monday at 10am, it will be due back on Wednesday no later than 3pm. If the equipment is checked out on 5pm on Wednesday, it will be due no later than Friday at 3pm. All Saturday checkouts must be returned at 3pm the following Monday.
