Printing at OSCR

The Office of Student Computing Resources offers a variety of printing resources to meet student, faculty and staff needs.


Self-Service Pay-for-Print Stations
Black & White: Use your CatCard for black & white laser printing on 8.5" x 11" paper in these open-access OSCR labs.
  • Printing on 8.5" x 11" paper is $.10 per page.
  • Printing on 8.5" x 14" paper for $.12 per page is available in the MLL.
  • Double-sided printing is available on the Pay-for-Print machines in all of OSCR's open-access labs (each side charged separately).
Color: Self-service color laser pay-for-print is available in the MLL. Prices are:
8.5" x 11" - $1.00 per page
8.5" x 14" - $1.25 per page
11" x 17" - $1.50 per page
  • The color printer in the MLL will also print double-sided (each side charged separately).
Inkjet Color Printing

Have photographs to print out? Bring your own paper to the MLL to print on the Epson R340. This color inkjet printer prints from 4" x 6" to 8.5" x 11".

Large-Format Printing

Make an appointment with the MLL staff to output high-quality, large-format prints on the Epson 9600. This color inkjet can print archival-quality images up to 43" on the short side and any reasonable length on the long side. It offers a maximum resolution of 2880 X 1400 dpi with 7 pigment-based UltraChrome Inks. Paper finishes available include Photo Lustre, Glossy and Matte. The process is time-consuming--a full-width image takes approximately 30 minutes per linear foot to print--and our turnaround time is two business days.

The cost is $5 a square foot for UA students for academic projects only. Please note that the non-student, non-adcademic rate is $12 a square foot. We accept payment by cash, check (made out to the University of Arizona), or departmental IDB (contact us for the fund number).
